These oil paintings are made after two photographs of landscape in my village in India taken long ago. The passage of time has rendered these photographs less clear, allowing the details to fade into monotonous hues. Drawing upon this aspect of faded memory, the paintings aim to evoke a sense of nostalgia, longing, and the ethereal nature of our recollections.
