During lockdown, my student residence in Caen became my primary territory. Photographing neighbours within private and shared spaces created a reason to meet, converse and exchange experiences.

Photography became my way of exploring the building and meeting the people who inhabited it. The camera did not simply produce a record; it opened a reciprocal space in which we both participated.

Pendant le confinement, ma résidence étudiante à Caen est devenue mon territoire principal. Photographier mes voisins dans des espaces privés et partagés a créé une raison de nous rencontrer, de converser et d’échanger nos expériences.

La photographie est devenue ma manière d’explorer le bâtiment et de rencontrer ses habitants. L’appareil ne produisait pas seulement un document ; il ouvrait un espace réciproque auquel nous participions ensemble.
